Issues fixed in this update. Accessibility You can navigate the answer options using the Tab key. Once you reach the answer options, use the arrow keys to navigate through the answer options. Select the option using the Spacebar. Closed Captioning Closed caption toggling via a slide button does not work if the playbar is disabled.
The customizations made in the Closed Captions dialog in a different breakpoint do not always get retained after saving and reopening the project. Closed captions flicker in an HTML5 output when changing from one closed captioning to another on the same slide.
When generating audio using Neo Speech agents, line breaks in slide notes do not result in inserting silence between the generated audio sentences. Objects If there are five or more objects on a Master Slide, or the objects are marked as Rest of Project on a slide in Filmstrip, then the objects do not appear in SWF output.
Takes you through it step-by-step without being too elementary. The projects are great and there are even exercises as confidence builders to see if you've grasped what's being instructed.
I highly recommend it if you are learning Captivate. This book, however, has really helped me learn how to get started with this product. Eventually I want to roll out eLearning to my organization and this book is really helping me get there. First, it's a great book for learning the software. Please fix this!
By Tech-Drum-fan on August 5, One person found this helpful. The Essentials book is a great into to working with Captivate. While other books may explain how functions and features work, this book takes you by the hand to produce etraining. Very good. BTW this is part of a two book series. Get them both. Provides links to practice files which is super helpful. Heartily recommend. The book got here ahead of schedule and was in better condition listed. Digital badges are yours to keep, forever. What I am struggling with is the alignment of the cc box itself. We add table of contents to all of our courses. In this new version, the closed caption box wants to align beneath the table of contents and spread partially over the slide content itself.
This is Very unprofessional looking. Again, very unprofessional looking. What am I missing? I am following because I am having the same issue. Could you share the settings you used to at least get it off of the TOC? I actually successfully did it on one project, but using the exact same settings on a project with all the same dimensions stage size, etc the CCs turned up in a different spot on the screen. Very frustrating.
And despite this being the same setting on all slides some of them are still displaying in a different spot. Extremely frustrating and annoying! I have the align set to Custom. I have done that over 10 times, still get this problem, and multiple slides are holding onto old X and Y coordinates.
Anyone have an update on this? I need my TOC to show! You must be logged in to post a comment. Show All Notifications. Join Community. Sign In. Post here. Virtual Reality. Events and Announcements. Color has been proven to enhance the eLearning experience by boosting engagement and creating an emotional connection. With Adobe Captivate Release , eLearning professionals have the option to import colors from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Kuler, as well as upload them to the swatches for Adobe Captivate Release.
As a result, you can create more meaningful and immersive eLearning courses that catch the eye of the learner and encourage them to interact with the subject matter. You can even include color gradients, rotate handles, reflections, and shadowing. Adobe Captivate Release includes a variety of smart shape buttons, such as circles, triangles, callouts, banners, and flowchart symbols which can be customized to create eLearning navigation buttons.
You can even group smart shapes together to create simultaneous online interactions, or opt for different styles to alter their states.
For example, you can choose to make the hover state separate from the down state of the object.
